While hunting Dogwood Blooms around Yosemite Valley 2 months ago, I came across this Solitary Sojourner. It's solitary life really spoke to me. This is shot at f5.6 to isolate the bloom from the ground. I shot it at f13, f8, f5.6 and f4. And I ended up with f5.6 when I could review back here at...

This was taken in soft early morning light as I was leaving Yosemite a few days ago. These Redbud trees in bloom are really cool looking as the color really makes them jump out. I don't know why it's called Redbud when the blooms look purple, but that's it's name. :) All comments are welcome, Jim
