Black Stars is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC. It wasn't originally what I was pointing the camera at, but I ended up liking this even better. This is a REALLY long exposure too - 25 seconds. It is some type of tree bark.
Double Drop is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Hopeland Gardens in Aiken, SC. This is another from my tree sap sub-collection. The shape of it reminded me of glass being blown, and I loved all of the reflections and refractions.

Its a close up of the ancient tree i shared recently, had to re-shoot it, since i did not have enough exposures for the proper DOF, this is a stack of 39 exposures for the full DOF...
My wife and I had a pleasant walk at the Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle yesterday. I brought my Sony RX100 V in my pocket, but didn't think I'd take many pictures on this cloudy summer day. Debbie had her iPhone 7 as usual.
I got this in the garden just outside the visiter center...
