Deep Sky Astrophotography on a Dob? You bet! Sort of. On rare occasions I have seen a 10 inch Newtonian or a C14 on a permanently installed EQ Mount. But by their nature Dob's operate exclusively on an alt-az axis, so very long exposures are not possible without star trails and other problems...
Jupiter remains a challenge for me, but I am continuing to work diligently to improve. Here I was able to get The Great Red Spot on one side, with it's closest Galilean Moon Io transiting across the other side.

There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
