This is from Laguna Beach the other day. In between shooting the mini Thors Well there I saw this outcropping a little ways out in the water that was having a really cool pour off occurring. In fact it would totally disappear under the water as the incoming waves hit it.

    All comments are welcome,

    Jim

This is a nice shutter speed for these waters - it almost has a paint brush feel to the water textures. The direct light on the rocks with the wave pour off worked quite well.

Looks great Jim. Shutter speed looks right on to make this interesting.

I'm hoping to get out that way this summer with my dad. He's wanting to visit some of his old stomping grounds.

    Hey Jim,
I also like this a lot. This is a very neat find and good eye to catch this out in the ocean.

You caught a nice moment. The pour off reflects the colors in the sky.

Thanks Jameel, I am glad you liked this. I did like the subtle reflection of colors too.

Depends on your definition of a waterfall. I see water obeying gravity and falling in this image :D
