Sometimes sticking around after sunset is a nice thing... As the skies got darker the crowds thinned out and the colors got richer. So I kept shooting. This is McWay Cove in Big Sur about half an hour after the sun set. Any thoughts are welcome.

This is really nice Kyle! I like the timing with the incoming water also. It's amazing how the color can pop some more after sunset, and it is nice that the crowds usually are gone as soon as the sun sets, and sometimes even before.

Nice - when the conditions are right (no marine layer) very interesting things can happen for our camera sensors. It's always nice that you can't really see what your camera can shoot because most non photographers leave once they think the colors are gone. I have to confess that I typically fail to enlighten those without tripods :)

Really nice colors, textures & motion, Kyle. The waterfall is almost an extra.

Sweet image Kyle. Most people don't know how long magic light will last or that it may return in a few minutes, and they bail. It ain't over till it's over.

Love the image, and I always feel like that little waterfall is feeding the ocean all of its water. :D
