Here's a view looking south from Tomaree headlands in Shoal Bay, Australia. Shoal Bay is about a 3 hour drive North of Sydney and was a really nice area to just hang around the beach. I hiked up the trail to this peak well before sunrise, hoping to capture some stars. The skies were cloudier than predicted, but that made for a really nice sunrise. Looking south from here you see Zenith Beach in the foreground followed by Wreck Beach and Box Beach. Beyond that you can see Shark Island, which has a spit of land (Fingal Spit) that you can walk across in low tide (second picture just for reference). The light on the island is the Port Stephens lighthouse and the town on the right is Fingal Bay.

    Any thoughts are welcome.

Really nice sunrise shot. I like the last visible stars peeking through from behind the clouds. The cloud colors add a layered feeling to them and give a nice glow to the lights of the town.
