Spectacular Reynisfjara beach at sunrise

Iceland is so amazing, landscapes and geology are unforgettable, but what makes all the difference is the light - it's just spectacular, and unlike any other light I have ever worked with.

This is Reynisfjara Beach at sunrise, taken during a Workshop I led in Iceland last February. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra.

Nice artistic photo, but the left side looks too blue to jive with the water on the right - I'm assuming you used a grad horizontally.

This looks awesome Vieri, I sure like the look and the cold/warm balance. I need to get to Iceland one of these days.

glad you enjoyed it! :) No, I haven't, I used grads diagonally on this one.

LOVE LOVE this I miss this place so much! My first trip and mot my last out of the country was to Iceland! This is SO beautiful!!
